Terms & Conditions
This is template copy for demonstration, not a counsel-reviewed legal document — replace it with approved wording before relying on it for a real customer.
Who you are contracting with
These terms govern your use of this website and the Innocence mobile application, and any order you place through either. The seller is [TO BE PROVIDED BY INNOCENCE] (registered address [TO BE PROVIDED BY INNOCENCE], GSTIN [TO BE PROVIDED BY INNOCENCE]). Using the site or placing an order means you accept these terms.
Price is set by the gold rate at the moment you confirm
This is the most important term on the page, because our prices are not fixed. Every piece is priced live from the day's gold rate, its net weight and purity, making charges, any stone value and GST. The rate moves daily, so the same piece can cost a different amount tomorrow. The price that binds is the one shown on the order confirmation at the moment you complete checkout. Prices displayed while browsing, saved in a wishlist, or held in a cart are indicative and are recalculated before payment. We are not able to honour a price from an earlier visit.
When an order becomes a contract
Adding an item to your cart is not an order. Your order is an offer to buy, and a contract forms only when we confirm it and accept payment. We may decline an order — for example if a piece has been sold in store, if a listing carried an evident pricing error, or if we cannot verify the delivery address — and where payment has been taken we will refund it in full.
Made-to-order and customised pieces
A piece made to your specification, resized, engraved, or produced from a design you supplied is made for you alone and cannot be resold. Those orders are not eligible for return or exchange except where the piece is faulty or not as specified. Any deposit against a custom order is applied to the final price; the terms of that deposit are set out at the time of order.
Hallmarking, certification and weight
All gold jewellery is BIS hallmarked and carries a HUID. Diamond and gemstone pieces above a threshold carat weight carry a certificate from a recognised gemological authority. Handmade jewellery varies slightly: stated weights and dimensions are accurate to normal manufacturing tolerance, and photography cannot reproduce colour exactly.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe it has been used without your permission. We may suspend an account we reasonably believe is being used fraudulently.
What you may not do
You may not resell through this platform, scrape or republish our catalogue, photography or pricing, attempt to interfere with the service, or use the assistant or review features to post unlawful, misleading or abusive content. We may remove content and suspend access where this happens.
Our responsibility to you
Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 2019 or any other law that cannot be excluded. Subject to that, our liability in connection with an order is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for loss of profit or other indirect loss.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at [TO BE PROVIDED BY INNOCENCE] have exclusive jurisdiction. We may update these terms; the version in force is the one published here when you place your order.
